COHAD - COPE's Occupational Health Advisory Database

COHAD is COPE's leading occupational health advisory database. All of our occupational health and physiotherapy service customers have access to the reports COHAD generates. COHAD is a unique and valuable management tool that enables identification of the work relatedness of ill-health within an organisation. It can be used for specific, targeted managerial intervention planning.

COHAD provides the Customer with the tools to effectively "risk-manage" causes of work related ill health and injury within their organisation, through:

  • Building a detailed picture of the types of conditions that are re-occurring, where and why within your organisation
  • Enabling focused use of resources, time and funds, on effective interventions

COHAD translates a multitude of data to generate meaningful reports, such as:

  • Number of referrals by:- date range, business area, job type, absence, health condition, body part, referral % rate against customer headcount.
  • Condition type & Work Relatedness – body part or health condition and work relatedness:- causal, aggravated or non work-related.
  • Number of health assessments undertaken & recall reports – health surveillance and fitness for work reporting and recall management.
  • How many treatments undertaken clinical or physiotherapy – onsets and recovery outcomes.

Using COHAD, COPE are able to provide a suite of MI reports for the customer. As the COHAD system is entirely owned and operated by COPE and the programming expertise is in-house, where applicable we can respond to customer requirements in respect of extending COHAD reporting to cover areas perhaps not yet included.
